Dear fellow Jew,
My name is Leah Vaknin.
I am turning to you with a broken heart and from dire helplessness - I have no other choice.
My husband and I have been married for over 25 years, and throughout our marriage, my husband had a respectable job with a nice salary. We lacked nothing.
I worked as a school teacher, in addition to taking care of the home and raising our children. Baruch Hashem, our situation was very good.
Unfortunately, 5 years ago everything turned upside down.
Out of the blue, my husband had a heart attack and severe stroke. Since then, his medical condition has been deteriorating and we are constantly back and forth from the hospital.
My life revolves around accompanying him in ambulances, staying by his side in the hospitals and very frequently going along with him to doctors and specialists.
Needless to say, we are going through a huge financial collapse.
We are in lots of debt – we owe money to the grocery stores, banks and to many creditors. This is all because of the expensive medication and treatments he needs to take, as well as all the doctor visits. In addition to this, we still have to support and feed our 12 children! Since I need to be with my husband almost 24/7, I am unable to work and earn even a small amount.
My dear brothers, I'm literally on the verge of a breakdown, chalila, and I'm begging for your help!
Please open your hearts and save us from collapse!
Please help me fight for my husband's life without our children starving for bread!
I thank you for all your help and give you a bracha that you should always be on the giving end, with health, wealth, and happiness. May all your heart's desires be fulfilled for good, Amen!
