Sad and Critical Update: 09.22.2023
Due to prolonged incarceration in the overcrowded and unsanitary African prison, without proper authorities' care, his physical condition has deteriorated significantly. He has lost a substantial amount of weight, likely suffering from gastrointestinal illness, making it difficult for him to eat. Complications arising from COVID-19, such as hand tremors and impaired balance, cause occasional convulsions.
Funds are running out! If efforts to save him cease, and legal proceedings do not conclude as quickly as possible, there is an imminent threat to his life.
Funding the legal proceedings and associated expenses can change the situation and save his life. Please help!
Despite everything, we are preparing to file an appeal and try to save him in any possible way!
This is "Pikuach Nefesh" because every moment he stays in this terrible prison his life is in real danger

A young Jewish man languished in the cruelest prison in Africa for the crime of smuggling turtles.
With constant abuse in a smelly cell alongside the vileness of a person, the young man cries for his life in the recordings that came out of the cell to the attorney:
"I am constantly being abused. My tefillin has been dishonored and I am begging - dear brothers - save me !!!"
A bitter and cruel sentence hangs over our dear brother and his life is in danger.
