בס"ד
Dear friend,
As the Pesach holiday approaches, for many of us, it's a time of celebration, planning, and anticipation. However, for numerous families in Israel who are below the poverty line, the looming holiday brings forth feelings of anxiety and concern.
We cannot fathom the thought of sitting down to a lavish Pesach Seder table while there are those among us who lack even the bare minimum. Just imagine the sorrow of an orphan or a widow without anyone to support them, facing an empty table. It's truly heart-wrenching! The ability to prevent such a situation lies within each of our hands.
Please, let's mobilize now so that we can assist all the needy and downtrodden families in Israel to prepare adequately for Pesach without the last-minute rush. Let's bring them joy and ensure that their children can also go to synagogue with new clothes like everyone else. And when they return home for the Seder night, a table filled with abundance will await them.
Pesach symbolizes the eternal source of unity, giving, and mutual responsibility of the Jewish people. And it's not for nothing that the Haggadah shel Pesach begins with the statement: "Let all who are hungry come and eat!"
The organization IJCF (International Jewish Chesed Fund) provides assistance throughout the year to widows, orphans, single-parent families, and those facing daily hardships. They ensure their economic well-being, provide weekly food baskets, vouchers, clothing, assistance for Shabbat and holidays, payment for schools and extracurricular activities for children, and much more. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing conflict in Israel, the situation has become even more challenging, with the demand for help increasing day by day.
Please, help us sustain our charitable efforts for the sake of the needy and the vulnerable who have no one else to care for them!
Wishing you and your loved ones a kosher and joyous Pesach.
