This is Vicky, Or's mother, who was diagnosed with cancer near to the brain stem an year ago.
As you know, due to the sensitivity of the location of the tumor and due to the impossibility of appropriate treatment in Israel, we had to fly with Or to Vienna on the recommendation of the doctors to treat the tumor in his head in a targeted manner until it is completely healed and the tumor disappears.
From the beginning it was planned that we would stay in a private apartment for about two weeks and then we would move to an apartment that belongs to the hospital in order to save on the very expensive costs of staying.
Unfortunately, the patient staying in the hospital's apartment had to continue to stay there and this apartment did not become available to us as planned, which forces us to continue renting a private apartment here, the cost of which is 1800 euros per month, and we have to be here for a few more months.
In addition, we stay in an apartment far from the medical center because we don't have the money to rent a nearby apartment that costs a fortune and there is no public transportation from there to the medical center and we have to travel by private transportation every day when each trip costs us 100 euros one way and another 100 return.
The kosher food here is very, very expensive so our daily expenses amount to an average of 500 dollars per day just for the stay and travel and no one pays us!
I am begging your heart because we are running out of money and we must continue to treat Or for his life and that his treatment will not stop just because there is no money and I can't imagine what the consequences will be.
Please have mercy on my child he is only 15 years old he wants to live!
